SEPSA is established in the Port of Veracruz and it was conceived with the purpose of becoming a Highly Specialized Port Terminal in the handling of minerals in bulk and metal products that would efficiently optimize the discharge and storage maneuvers inside the Port of Veracruz.

SEPSA offers high productivity in vessels discharge, minimizes the costs for the importer and solves the performance and ecological problems that come with these maneuvers by following the regulations and productivity standards proposed by the Port Administration (APIVER: Integral Port Administration of Veracruz) in its Master Plan for the Development of the Port of Veracruz.

SEPSA counts with the support of important industrial firms both domestic and foreign, in the fields of steel, maritime and land transport, which guarantees a full knowledge of our customer needs.

What do we do?

SEPSA coordinates the activities of several factors that intervene in the import of minerals in bulk in the Port of Veracruz, optimizing the logistics chain from our suppliers, clients and transport, including the port operations: coordination, programming, loading and unloading, weighing, strapping, storage, customs dispatch, reception and shipping by rail and land transport.

How we do it?

SEPSA offers high productivity that translates into important savings in the vessels freight due to shorter stays in the port, which reduces the costs to the importer and solves the operative and ecological problems inherent to these maneuvers.

Our work processes are based on an integrated logistics that includes the following points:

1. Depending the caracteristics of the cargo ofloading of mineral alongise the ship and shipping of minerals in bulk and any metal product at the side of the vessel with innovative machinery. we have a productivity of 8 to 14 thousand tons a day.
2. Moving the material to the transportation means for its destination or to our inbond facility where the merchandise can be released according to the needs of our customers.
3. An efficient loading operation of the material onto railroad equipment and/or trucks, as well as a scale service inside the yard which speeds up the operation.
4. Creating reports on operative and performance indicators of the vessel and the transportation means.
5. Online access so that our clients know their cargo status in real time as well as security cameras.

Besides optimizing the logistics in the handling of raw materials (minerals in bulk) SEPSA integrates and coordinates the supply chain of all the sectors involved, which translates into benefits for the national economy since it seeks to diminish the costs for in bulk importers and contributes to the reduce the time of the vessel in the Port of Veracruz.
